Short-Term Summer Programs

Yet another great way to travel, experience another culture AND study abroad!

Many of our bilateral exchange partners offer Summer Short-Term Study Abroad Programs.

Students participating in most summer school programs will pay tuition and program fees directly to the host institution. This typically includes tuition, accommodation, and activity costs. In some cases, students instead register and pay tuition to TRU; however, these opportunities require nomination and are limited to specific schools.

Summer programs may transfer back as one or two TRU courses. Check the program details in Horizons for more information.

For programs that are non-credit, you may still be able to apply for credit through TRU’s Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) process.
